Ramadan Machla Program

Since 2019, Makhazen (the new name for Agility KSCP) has partnered with several organizations to provide Machla food boxes to families in need during Ramadan, including the Al Ber Foundation and the Kuwait Food Bank. In addition to food assistance Makhazen has also donated warehouse racking that can be used by the Al Ber Foundation to increase the amount of food that can be stored for distribution throughout the year to help the Foundation to reach more people in need of food assistance. The warehouse racking will enable the Al Ber foundation to reach thousands of more people on a yearly basis without incurring additional food storage costs.

About Al Ber Foundation & Kuwait Food Bank

The Al Ber Foundation is a local Kuwaiti NGO that provides food assistance to families in Kuwait, with their largest campaign taking place during Ramadan, distributing “machla” food baskets to over 28,000 people from 2015 to 2023. The Kuwait Food Bank educates the community on preserving grace and supports needy families with food supplies, motivating companies to participate in charity, creating job opportunities, and promoting professional charitable work. They receive various donations to support poor families and contribute to relief campaigns for famines, wars, and disasters globally.
